Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I was browsing the local hobby lobby store saw it thought why not.I have since purchased everything to use the clay and any books that applied to the craft I have been using the clay for approx. 6 months.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

I really just do my own thing I enjoy all types of crafts and I have a whole room dedicated to "the crafty room" as my family calls it.

What is your specialty?

figurines, some comical

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

It's easy to use, it stays the shape even when you scale to the very small figuine.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

Not at this time

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

I have never tried I really don't know where the have any contest in our area for clay creation. I have entered and won 1st place in ceramics.

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

Well I'm a register nurse at this time but I would really be interested in owning a craft store or some how work through the computer selling products.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Try it and let your imagination be your guide.

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?


What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

I enjoy all brands.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I'm married with two grown children. My only training is through myself.
