Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?
I first saw polymer clay whimsical bears at a craft show about 12 years ago, I've always been a craft person and it intrigued. I purchased some clay & books and made a few Xmas ornaments, but my love of dogs I branched out 11 years ago creating Dogs of all Breeds, I sold them on eBay and starting getting request to create other peoples pets, memorials of our beloved pets that have past and creating dogs that are currently with us. I love creating dogs it came to me so naturally. I believe create what you love & you will create a beautiful work of art.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?
What is your specialty?
Dogs sculptures of all Breeds.
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?
I love the 3D dimensions, gives a more realistic effect. I can create what I love most - Dogs.
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?
No but I have attended many craft shows, sell on eBay for past 11 years & ETSY for the past 6 years. Have my own Art website which I display some of my work.
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?
I'm interested in art show, & entering more contest. I feel I'm at that level of experience that my work is very good.
