Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?
In February 1999, I found a book by Donna Kato, in the library. I was so moved by the possibilities that I was hooked!
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?
Donna Kato. She inspired me to just play and discover!
What is your specialty?
I can't say that I have a specialty, unless it is making pins.
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?
Because it can be almost ANYTHING!
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?
I am in the first stages of forming a local clay group - In five years, or much sooner, I want to have a SouthEastCoast Guild and open, or be part of a polymer clay on-line 'shop'.
Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?
JUST DO IT!! The more you play the easier it becomes and the sooner you will find yourself expressed in a tangible form.
Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft
What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?
I enjoy Premo, when I can find it...It is strong and fairly pliable right out of the package. For the most part I use Sculpey III and FIMO Soft. They are most available at the store.
Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your
