Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?
I discovered polymer clay in a Klutz book written for kids. I bought it for my niece and tried it out.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?
Pier Voulkos, Lindly Huanani, Elise Winters, Julia Sober, kinetic artist Yaacov Agam, colors and patterns in art quilts and graphic design.
What is your specialty?
"Layered images" technique I developed as a surface technique.
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?
find it easy to get clay out and work. It is more accessible than paint or other art forms.

I want to experiment, write articles and teach. Maybe do some swaps.

Join a guild, take workshops, look at all the books and videos that interest you.

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?
I use Premo because I love their metallics. I also love Fimo colored translucents. I would like to try Kato clay too.

BFA in graphic design. Mom and sister are also artistic, daughter wants to be an artist and is quite good at drawing. She also loves polymer clay and has access to lots of tools and clay.
