Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I discovered Polymer Clay on the Internet, through the french forum "Gothic Lolita". By now, I've been using for one and a half year.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Not when I started creating fimo jewels...but a few months after my start, I discovered two amazing polymer-clay artists: AngeniaCreations and Daniel Pupa Kawaii Jewels.

What is your specialty?

My specialty is creating pendants of all kinds. I create all types of jewels, but I do really like working on pendants.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

I've always been a creative person...but what I enjoy the most is modeling something from my own hands and feeling it under my fingers: it's a very unique sensation. I chose polymerclay because I liked the colours and the effects I couldn't find with other kinds of clay.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

I have not yet gained any awards, aside of small contests on french polymer-clay sites.

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

I have the big dream, as many people I think, to be able to become a professional creator. Right now, it's not at all the studies I'm leading and I didn't think I would want to become a creator, but from the moment I encountered polymerclay, I fell in love with it. And seeing my progress in one and a half year, I still have hopes about this wonderful dream that, maybe, could become real one day.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Believe in yourself, try to create something personal and spend a lot of time on polymerclay if you want to progress.

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

I'm a member of many polymerclay groups on the artist community "Deviantart", but I don't know if it counts.

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

For now, it's fimo...because I'm used to model it so I'm pretty efficient with it. I tried Sculpey too, but the packs I bought were too soft for my taste.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I'm a 21-year-old french woman who is currently close to achieve her studies (which are unrelated to art). As I said earlier, I've been creating with clay for one and a half year, at least once a week and sometimes several times a week. I started by making miniature foods the first 3 months and I quickly turned myself towards jewels.

My ambition was to convey my own universe, inpired by Gothic, Steampunk, Sweet lolita and many other styles, through my jewels.

I'm still on my way to be able to give a true identity to my work and gain views for it.
