Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I just recently discovered polymer clay. I am in the ceramic artsfield. I love working with this medium. I think I`ve been working with it about six months.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Yes , I am really influenced by Maureen Carlson's work. I have her "How to Make Clay Charactors" book . I wish I could aford all of her works.

What is your specialty?

I really love to make little fairy tale figures.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

Because it is so easy to work with. If I don`t like what I make, I can start it again.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

No, sorry, not yet - maybe one day though.

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

No, not yet, maybe one day.

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

I hope to have my own line of figures in the department and gift stores, and maybe write a book about it.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Yes, I do .What ever you do , don`t give up on your DREAMS!!

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

No, not yet, but hope to be soon. If I could locate them , I would join.

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

I like Fimo and Sculpey and Sculpey III.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I am a ceramic artist , a wife, a mother and a grandmother. and I am totally addicted to polymer clay and computers!!
