Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I saw it in the craft store and decided to try it and really liked it. I've used it for about 3 years.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Not really.

What is your specialty?

Mostly figurines, christmas ornaments, some jewelry, etc.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

Because I can make stuff that looks great and the more I do the better my things look.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

No

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

No

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

I hope to be able to sell more and teach others how to enjoy polymer clays.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Try it because you can do most anything you have the imagination to create.

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

No.

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

Sculpey III because it is easier to knead and I like the way it looks.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I work at Hobby Lobby and sometimes even make some money over what I spend in supplies! I sell my work at a Crafters Mall in Oklahoma City. I am married and have two teenage children Becky 18 and Ricky 16. I really enjoy crafts and love my job at Hobby Lobby where I am a department head in the floral area. I also like to play golf with my husband Bill.
