Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I am a rank beginner with Polymer Clay. Have always been fascintated with the enormous variety of "things" that can be made from clay. I've been a 'crafter' and seamstress most of my life and have dabbled in many, many forms of craft. I love fabric art & design. My head is so filled with ideas and projects that I want to achieve with clay, I'll need to live to be 200!

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Marie Segal, Kris Richardson..There are so many wonderful artists out there.

What is your specialty?

I haven't discovered my specialty yet. I'm interested in jewelry, figures, decorative vessels of all kinds and want to learn how to make dolls.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

There is absolutely no limit to what you can do with it! You're only limited by your imagination.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

Much, much improved with both my skills and varieties of products made.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Don't give up...don't be afraid to try something different and new...If your first attempt doesn't live up to your expectations, try it again!

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

Premo, Cernit, Fimo Soft

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I'm a registered nurse by profession. Have three grown children and four grandchildren. I guess I inherited my creative genes from my mother, who was a seamstress, artist, crafter and genuine wonder.
