Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

I have only been playing with polymer for about a weekend,I've already made about 50 beads,and a few lil sculptures!!

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Well,that's a great question..I flitted around the net for a few till I hit your spot..I think you guys inspire me,regular people with a penchant for art!

What is your specialty?

I make hemp jewelery>I make anything from belts to dog collars..and I'm always looking for new knots and new designs!

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

I am a starving artist anyway..from sculptures to oils to jewelery.This is just one more way I can say how beautiful the world always looks to me!

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

No polymer books..but a poetry book is in the making

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?


What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

no,not yet...

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

I've only used Sculpey III so far...

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I am a 35 year old female..I have 2 boys..ages 7 and 9 who live with daddy in Charlotte...I live with my boyfreind who is a professional photographer.We have one doggie..Porter..and we love to go camping,hiking,sitting in the backyard..playing our instruments and creating stuff!!!I am relatively new,well..brand spankin new ,to the craft.but it seems like i am picking it up!Can't wait to share tips and learn from the pros!!
