Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

One day I walked into my daughters kitchen and a lovely women was showing her what she did with polymer clay...I was speechless. My daughter and I are both artists and this was a totaly different medium...Eggs, flowers, pins, quilts in frames..everything. The next week I spent $$$ and went crazy. I loved practicing and making things out of clay . I've been doing it for only TWO WEEKS NOW and learning at an amazing rate.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

When I saw Dinko Tilov's book on Clay Fantasy Characters....I had to have them. I love fantasy and have started with lesson one and this author makes it very easy.

What is your specialty?

I really don't know yet, because I love it all.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

I was a professional cake decorator some years back and now I can keep what I design.

Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?

I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

As a grandmother..I hope to keep having fun, enjoy my family, stay in good health, play with clay. At the moment I have my own advertising agency in home and love it.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

I use primo or FIMO because it was recommended to me.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I would like to congratulate, and thank the people who have placed their tips, instructions, ideas and comments ont this web site for newbies like me, to be able to learn this hobby without severe fustration, as you can find a solution to any problem you may be having. Again I thank you all for a job so well done!
