9/21/06Bead swap
Lucy Wilson
I'm a beader and love to make my own beads with polymer clay to make unique jewelry and would love to swap! The swap will be in groups of 10 beads, you make and send 10 identical beads and receive 10 identical beads back. You can sign up for as many or as few groups of 10 beads as you wish. The style/size can be anything you wish, just make sure it has at least one hole to make it a "bead"! To sign up email me with your name and email address and an idea of how many groups of beads you wish to send (this is totally flexible, just gives me a rough idea of how many to expect!). I'll send out full details by email once you are signed up. All swap packages are to be mailed to me with return postage by priority mail (the boxes are great and prevent damage to the beads, this starts at $4.05). I'll sort them and mail them back out to you as soon as possible once i have got them all in.

9/9/06Snowman Holiday Ornament!
Suzanne Pebworth
My holiday decorating "theme" is snowmen, so I thought that hosting a swap would be a wonderful way to collect some of the most original and unique pieces I could ever hope to find, as well as sharing my snowman (and clay)obsession with other fans as well! Here's the basic rules: Create a snowman, snowoman, showchild, snowdog/cat, snowangel, (I think you get the "drift") ornament no larger than 4 inches in height. Really dig into your creativity zone and look for a way to give your snowperson a truly original "look". Consider having your design reflect the area in which you live, or something special about who you are. Your ornament can be flat or 3D, whatever you like, and should come ready to hang on the tree. This will be a "group" swap with groups consisting of 10 members each, which means you will make and send me 10 of the exact same item, and will recieve 10 back - just let me know if you would like to get in on more than one group. I will give you shipping details when you contact me to join the swap. The deadline for sending me your creations is November 15 so I can get all the ornaments back out to everyone by Thanksgiving - right in time for holiday decorating. I can't wait to get started, so email me today!!

I have been collecting angels all my life. A favorite type to collect are unique, handmade angels. What better way to add to my collection (and yours) than to host an angel swap. The rules are simple: Create some kind of original angel to share. This is a one for one swap. The more you share, the more you receive in return. Please let me know how many angels you would like to create and share (from 1-15). Packages are due by September 1. I will ship swap packages as soon as all have been received. Please include return shipping with your package of angels or ask for my Paypal info (and drop it in there). I look forward to swapping with all of you.
