Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?

The first time I used polymer clay was about 12 years ago. A local Bulgarian brand of the material. I used to work with it, making mainly dinosaurs during the summer to make pocket money. After that I stopped for quite a long time and restarted working with polymer clay in september 2001. I am using FIMO soft now.

Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?

Yes - my brother Dinko, a very special artist. My personal polymer clay God. But also David Crakov - his work is really great too.

What is your specialty?

My specialty are ugly and nasty creatures. I am triyng for a month now to make a fairy. Every time I start and I think this is going to be a fairy and at the and it turns out that I've made a witch.

Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?

It is affordable, easy to work with at home. Doesn't demand long preparations, it is not messy.

participated at one science fiction and fantasy convention art show and hope to participate in another one this may 2002.

What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

To become the best maker of polymer clay chess and other board game sets.

Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?

Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are the thing that teaches you fast and helps the most. Observe.

Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft organization?

Yes, "The most unwanted craftsman in the kitchen". Sometimes my wife gets mad at me because the oven is always occupied by some creatures.

What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?

FIMO soft is my thing. I like working with softer clay.

Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?

I have a great family. A wonderful wife. Two great brothers. Loving parents. Good friends. A normal person - that's me.
