Tell us in your own words, how you discovered polymer clay and how long have you been using it?
I discovered it last year on my birthday when as usual I had been taken into an art shop to buy my birthday presents. I bought some clay and it's now one of my favourite mediums.
Are there any special artists that you can attribute your interest to or that have inspired you?
I'd have to say Sue Heaser has inspired me slightly for all the techniques I know I've learned from one of her books
What is your specialty?
Miniatures - dolls house miniatures and miniature food
Can you tell us why you find polymer clay the expressive medium for you?
There's so many brands to use and colours. It's easy shaped and doesn't take a kiln to bake it.
Have you published any polymer clay books or do you have any in the works?
I know it is very difficult to express, but have you won any awards for your polymer clay work?
What are your expectations for the future? Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?
Still using polymer clay and enoying it while I do an art course at Glasgow University, Scotland.
Do you have any advice for the beginning polymer clay enthusiasts?
Don't be afraid to try out techniques and just have fun with it.
Are you a member of any Polymer Clay group,or any other craft
What brands of polymer clay do you prefer and why?
Fimo Soft is the only type I use because it comes in 48 colours and it's very soft and smooth. This helps me when trying to shape dolls house miniatures and miniature food greatly.
Last and most important can you tell us all about you? Your family, your training?Leave Your Interview!
Well I'm 15 years old, an artist and I live in Central Scotland with my Dad and my sister. I like art, wet weather, punk rock music and polymer clay.
