First Experience With Clay:  I visited a bead fair in 2002 looking for unusual beads and buttons to decorate my machine knitted fabrics. There I saw swirled beads in polymer clay, a material unknown to me. I booked a class with the bead maker for a month later when she taught me a leaf cane. The next day I bought a pasta machine and an oven. Gradually my knitting machines, all 5 of them, got packed away to make space for my growing polymer clay hobby!!
